What a one-letter link is
A one-letter link is a short link whose code is a single character, such as kort.my/a. Codes use 33 letters and numbers, so there are exactly 33 one-letter links. We leave out o, i and l, because they look like 0 and 1.
With so few, one person can't keep one for good without leaving 32 others with nothing. So we keep them closed until we know how to hand them out fairly. The waitlist shows us which characters people want.
Want a short link today? Codes of 2, 3 or 4 characters are free for a while, and codes of 6 or more characters have no end date. Find a short code, or read why short codes are rare.
